Cross Country

Cross Country, also known as endurance running. This is a long distance running competition. The courses are all over Fairfield County and are open country courses that sometimes involve rough terrain. The courses may include grass, mud, woodlands, sand, and water. Results are based on individual and team scores.

Our Lady of Fatima School participates in the Fairchester League. This league is comprised of Private and Parochial Schools in Fairfield and Westchester Counties. Cross Country is both a Fall and Spring Sport. You can join one season or both. Practices are Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00-4:00 for the fall season.

May 2017 - Congratulations to the OLF Cross Country Team, coached by Caroline Feeney and Amber Pace.

In the Fairchester North Division, the following OLF runners placed for the
Spring 2017 season:

5th grade girls - 1st place Sofia Pace
4th place Luisa Spremulli

5th grade boys - 4th place Alex Wong

6th grade boys - 5th place tie - Brian Weiss and Jadyn Westcott

8th grade girls - 3rd place Meghan Koziolkowski
4th place Meaghan Sabino

8th grade boys - 1st place Frank Bonaddio

In addition, Frank Bonaddio and Sofia Pace both won 1st place for the
Championship Race for their grade and gender.
